The Forum, located on the corner of Broadway and West 125 th Street, is a unique community gathering space that serves as the gateway to Columbia University's developing Manhattanville campus. Forum 8 is the smaller of the two large movie theaters in Columbia, Mo. My family personally prefers this theater. There is plenty of parking, and all the spots are in short walking distance from the theater. The ticket booth is the first thing you see, which typically has two employees working. One of the nicer multiplexes that replaced most of the single and twin screen auditorium in the Columbia, Mo. area. Opened by Dickinson Theatres on June 19, 1992. From January 22, 1999 it was taken over by Goodrich Quality Theaters chain.
